In depth
Verdict
Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading fancies but the main protagonists look to be Panmure, Karo De Vindecy and Ikdam Melody and the tentative vote is given to Karo de Vindecy. The selection was a fair second behind Panmure last time out but on these revised terms he is taken to gain his revenge on that rival here. Panmure is sure to have his supporters as he again has conditions to suit but he will do well to win this off a career high mark. Ikdam Melody is another that could go well on his latest second behind Victorias Boy but all his best form is over a longer trip and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Atlantic Crossing has the ability to go close but he has looked very temperamental in points of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Now Then Sid and Tootlanmd Bay have dropped to favourable marks and are others that could go well at a price while Nosam is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Karo De Vindecy.
