In depth
Verdict
Wyfield Rose has won twice here over hurdles but doesn’t look a natural jumper of fences but MIDNIGHT SHOT is two from two over the larger obstacles and has been impressive. Charlie Longsdon again utilises a 7lb claimer to help offset penalties and he can hold off easy Cartmel winner Elusive Theatre, rated 10lb lower over hurdles, if allowed an easy lead. Cup Final has also taken well to fences and won at Southwell before finishing second at Sedgefield. For Yes has won three times between the flags, including here last time, and remains unexposed under Rules.
