Verdict

Petiville has finished in the frame in all four starts over hurdles and Richard Hobson will be disappointed if he can’t go one better than when second in a Class 2 handicap at Cartmel last time. But he is likely to face a strong challenge from the mare TALKOFGOLD (NAP), who was a wide-margin winner of a maiden over 2m4f here on her debut under Rules and has already won over 3m between the flags. Ahead of The Curve, another points winner, looks the pick of the remainder.
