Verdict
Another wide open race with many imponderables, but Commanche Quest, Tobesure and Ideal Du Bois Beury are all shortlisted and we will side with To Be Sure. The 9-year-old won well over course and distance last time when defeating Jumbos Dream, and although he has a penalty here, he should take all the beating under similar conditions. Ideal Du Bois Beury has the ability to win but has a mind of his own so can not be backed with any confidence. Commanche Quest is another that goes well at this track and was a fair third in a better race behind Ballyluskey at Aintree last time. However, he may struggle to give weight to some less exposed rivals. Of the remainder, Brandsby Stripe is from a yard that is beginning to hit form and he could run well at a big price, but our goes to Tobesure.
