In depth

Verdict

This is an ordinary-looking Class 4 handicap. We’ll concentrate on those at the head of the weights with Brian Hughes keeping faith with LAKE TAKAPUNA, who has a decent strike-rate and finished close up off a higher mark at Ayr last time despite finishing last of three finishers. First Revolution came back to form with a second over course and distance latest but was no match for an easy winner. Course specialist Dolly Dancer is hard to catch right so Sedgefield runner-up Robins Field may be the pick of the remainder.
