Verdict
The progressive Station Island can continue on his merry way here, with Naunton Brook and The Lyme Volunteer fancied to pose him the most problems. The selection has remained on the upgrade with a couple of solid efforts this season - the last of which was turned into nothing more than an exercise canter as he bolted up at Wetherby. This is a tougher assignment and the unexposed Naunton Brook should not be underestimated with his challenge. Nigel Twiston-Davies has got off to a flyer this term and this son of Alderbrook can be expected to be ready to despite not being seen out in public since April. Any rain will not do his cause any harm and a bold bid looks assured. Similar sentiments apply to The Lyme Volunteer, who is a game and consistent performer that has gone very well at right-handed courses in the past. Oliver Sherwood's charge has proved susceptible to anything that possesses a turn of foot though and, as he has been off for the best part of a year, he might just need this. Therefore Station Island, who appears to be going from strength to strength at the moment, looks a more solid option and he is fancied to land his fourth victory of the year now that Graham Lee is doing the steering.
