In depth
Verdict
Although Imago II has some valuable experience of these fences, he can be a little sketchy at times, so he is taken on with chasing debutante Rosetown, who has been progressing nicely over timber and is obviously ready for the next phase of his career. River Mere, who won over fences at Uttoxeter in July, has been struggling to find his best form lately and may find his younger rivals again have his measure today, while Kew Jumper is almost the complete opposite, as he makes only his fifth start in public. He does not have that much to find with the selection on his hurdles rating, but as Rosetown has the more obvious physique to make an impact as a chaser, he just edges the vote this afternoon.
