Verdict
ELKSTONE reappears for the first time since landing this 12 months ago but is only 2lb higher and can complete the double. Brian Hughes gave Larch Hill a confident ride to beat Romanor at Stratford but the runner-up is now 6lb better off. Demon D'aunou was disappointing at Uttoxeter after winning earlier at Stratford and High Noon looks to have gone off the boil after notching a double at Market Rasen over the summer.
