Verdict

Veteran Mr Mcguiness can’t get much lower in the weights but hasn’t won in more than four years and finished behind Kilchreest Moon at Worcester in July, when the latter was a disappointing favourite. Deputy Jones was still travelling when coming to grief at Perth while Worcester winner Ulysses could figure again if on a going day. Rock On Tommy is proving quite consistent but Princess Ruby looked a tricky ride when beaten in a seller at Stratford. MIDNIGHT JEWEL produced a career-best to resume winning ways at Fontwell and must be given the chance to shrug off a 7lb rise.
