In depth

Verdict

This is a tough one for punters to unravel but NORSE LIGHT looks to have as good a chance as any as he landed a similar grade handicap at Leicester in January and is just 1lb higher. The four-year-old Dylan's Storm ran his best race to date over hurdles when runner-up at Fakenham though this looks a tougher heat while Ogaritmo ran poorly at Fakenham after a much better performance there on her previous start. Nicholascopernicus, four times a winner on the Flat, has shown the occasional promise over timber but the main threat may come from Sarpech, who showed his first sign of ability over timber at Southwell and has Richard Johnson on board. Kayfton Pete appears better over fences these days but the lightly-raced Levelling is one to note on his handicap debut.
