In depth
Verdict
Grand March has won over hurdles here but shown little in three starts over fences. Swizzler scored over the minimum at Leicester before finding three miles much too far at Warwick while Zayfire Aramis jumped poorly on his chasing debut at Lingfield. GLENSTONE TRAIL, who had a very long absence before returning to action here last month, couldn't handle heavy going at Leicester last time but his runs on this type of ground a couple of seasons ago put him in the picture for this lowly contest and he's given the nod. Halcyon Days has been well beaten in all starts over fences but Copperfacejack is one of the few with scope and could snatch a place at a fair price.
