Verdict

SENDANI is the one to be with here although it's no penalty kick with Pairc Na Gcapall and Marsam in opposition. Sendani didn't hit the hoped for heights over hurdles but he made a winning start to his career over birch when getting the better of a decent yardstick in Cortinas at Fakenham. This is tougher and he clearly comes with a health warning attached but it's to be hoped that that success will have given his confidence a much needed boost. Pairc Na Gcapall returns to novice company after an admirable performance in a competitive handicap at Stratford and he has done well since being switched to fences. This is a marked drop in trip though and he could be tapped for toe. Noticeable looks up against it on his chase bow despite winning a selling hurdle at Towcester readily from Bernabeu on his most recent start. That leaves Marsam who was still travelling well when left in splendid isolation at Wetherby to gain his first win over fences. There should be more to come from him but Sendani gets the nod.
