Verdict
Plenty of interesting newcomers in this race to keep an eye on but ANGEL OF FASHION has already shown plenty of ability and she is preferred to Ailsa Carmel. The selection drops back down to five furlongs today but the testing finish should suit her at this track. This Invincible Spirit filly will probably get further in time but she might be classy enough to win today. Fenella Rose made a very pleasing debut at Nottingham, especially as she wasn't well fancied, and any market move for her would be interesting, whilst Ailsa Carmel and La Fortunata have both shown ability in one start apiece. Tomintoul Singer, a Johannesburg filly, and Carries Lass must be monitored closely, whilst Brian Meehan looks to have a likely pair in Lady Of The Desert and Vanishing Grey. A tricky maiden to assess but preference is for the experienced Angel Of Fashion.
