In depth

Verdict

Pequenita, Di's Dilemma, and Power Bird look the three to concentrate on i n this mares only race and the confident vote goes to Pequenita. The selection is fit from a recent pipe opener on the flat has conditions to suit and off what looks a fair mark she will be hard to beat with her yard still in top form. Di's Dilemma rates the main danger on her last run of last season which saw her finish fourth behind Rookery Lad. However she may just need the run after a 202 day absence and she is passed over on this occasion. Power Bird is another that could go well on her latest third behind Kingston Town but that form has since been let down. Dancing Dolphin is another with place claims she was a fair sixth behind The Rising Moon last time after two years off but that was only six days ago and she may find this race coming to quick for her. Of the remainder Cybele Eria would have chances on her best form but is far from consistent so can not be backed with any confidence, while Celtic Romance is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Pequenita.
