In depth

Verdict

Ballyrobert, Toulouse and Deliceo are three against the field in this competitive handicap chase and the tentative vote goes to Ballyrobert. The selection is well weighted on his best form and has conditions to suit, and although he has had jumping problems in the past he is taken to get round this fairly easy course. Toulouse rates the main danger he was a good second behind Polish Cloud last time and is sure to be suited by the step up in trip.Deliceo is another that could go well on his best form but he gave the impression he was in the handicappers grip when well beaten last time out and for that reason he is overlooked. Pounsley Mill is another that could go well but he may just need the run after a 306 day absence and his best form is over further. Of the remainder Six Pack was a fair second behind Papua last time and is another that is sure to be suited by the step up in trip but for the winner we return to Ballyrobert.
