In depth
Verdict
Running Moss is taken to defy a fair absence. He was a good winner over course and distance last season when defeating Hades De Sienna and although he is creeping up the weights he will be hard to beat with conditions in his favour. Gayles And Showers ran a fair race last time out when a staying on second behind Guilsborough Gorse he will appreciate this longer trip and rates the main danger. Strong Tartan was sent off favourite for a race at the last meeting here but was a one paced third and this gelding by Strong Gale may be seen to better effect on a faster surface. Ballybough Rasher is also one to consider he was a fair third at Wetherby last time out and but for a mistake two out he would have been a lot closer he will like the conditions and will not be far away. Mr Bossman is also one to consider he is one of the least exposed in the field and Lloyd McGrath takes off a handy seven pounds. Ardent Scout has shown his best form over longer trips while the remainder need to improve on there latest form to score.
