Verdict
Harrovian has struggled in handicaps of late and should appreciate this return to novice-company with Shannon's Pride and Hidden Bounty rated the main dangers. The selection has shown improved form in handicaps of late with a win over course and distance followed by decent efforts in defeat back here and at Ayr last time. The Nicky Richards-trained Shannon's Pride made all when successful at Ayr three starts ago but disappointed here last time. He may do better back on a softer surface and rates a bigger threat than recent Catterick winner Dumadic, who faces a stiffer task today. Cambrian Dawn and Goodbadindiferent make limited appeal and of more interest may be Hidden Bounty, who was the pick of these over hurdles but has not looked a natural over fences. Harrovian is an accomplished jumper though and he gets the vote.
