Verdict
Lord O'All Seasons has not raced under rules for some time but his recent point-to-point form is solid and he is preferred to Starbuck and Nisbet. The last mentioned won in this grade in the spring last year but gave little sign of encouragement in a recent run between the flags. Kilcaskin Gold comes here on the back of a recent win in a point-to-point but needs to improve to win this and of more interest may be the 13-year-old Running Moss, who makes a belated reappearance. Starbuck has form in hunter chases and has run with credit in point-to-points recently and is another to consider but preference is for Lord O'All Seasons. Useful in handicap-company three years ago, the 12-year-old has been showing his old sparkle in points recently and is taken to make a winning return to rules.
