Verdict
Blue Buster is selected ahead of To Tiger, Scarvagh Diamond and Bywell Beau. Having picked up a couple of bumpers in 2004, Blue Buster has the profile of a progressive sort, and has been brought along steadily during a limited hurdles campaign. In four outings over timber, Mick Easterby's charge has not been out of the first four, and returns to the fray after turning out here in April. The market may well reveal if he is fit enough to do himself justice, but he has certainly been found a weak enough race for his comeback, so even with something left to work on, could prove good enough. To Tiger finished second here 16 days ago, but the ex-German Flat horse shapes as though he will benefit from a longer trip over timber. Scarvagh Diamond is best watched on her debut over hurdles, but she did show a glimmer of ability in bumpers, while Bywell Beau in contrast is vastly more experienced, but has yet to win any sort of race under rules. Blue Buster has more scope than most, so has to be the selection.
