Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this handicap hurdle and Beseiged from the bang in form Richard Fahey yard will be hard to beat. The colt has won his last three hurdle races in good style and the way he beat Jollyolly last time out suggests he was still improving, and he looks to be on a fair mark for this his handicap debut. Mister Chisum was a fair second behind Ebinzayd on this track last time out but he may struggle to give weight and a beating to Beseiged. Gangsters R Us is another that could go well. However his best form is on very soft ground and he was very disappointing at Ayr last time so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Of the remainder Sir Edward Burrow is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
