Verdict
A wide open handicap hurdle here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Rising Generation, Giuliani, Totally Scottish and Transit and the tentative vote goes to Giuliani. The selection won with a little in hand when defeating Station Island last time out and although he is rising in the weights he could still be ahead of the handicapper and he is taken to win again under conditions that suit. Rising Generation rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Totally Scottish last time out but that rival is six pounds better off here for 1 and a half lengths so in theory that rival should gain his revenge. Transit remains on a handy mark despite rising in the weights for beating Mumaris last time out he also has his optimum conditions and he will not be far away. Of the remainder Dark Ben is another ;last time out winner that will not be far away. He is one of the least exposed in the field and still has plenty of scope for improvement, but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Giuliani.
