In depth
Verdict
Fiddlers Creek, Le Biassais and Tomasino are three against the field in a competitive opener and the tentative vote goes to Tomasino. The selection was only beaten 15 lengths in a class C event behind Nyrche last time out , this looks much easier and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Fiddlers Creek rates the main danger on his best form but he was disappointing behind Honest Endeavour last time and although he is likely to strip fitter here he will need to improve to score. Le Biassais is another worthy of respect as he is a bumper winner and looks sure to improve for the switch to hurdles and is worth noting in the market. Armagh South is from a yard that is in top form but he has ben tried over a variety of trips without success and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Dalkeys Lad was a fair fourth behind Sobraon last time and is another with place claims but for the winner we return to Tomasino.
