Verdict

Gavin Hamilton won this last year so Danehills Well, who never won in 15 starts under Rules but has taken two points this winter, including at Dalston on Easter Monday, has to be respected. Kit Alexander rode the winner of this in 2014 and his mount S FOR ESTUARY can repeat the process. He showed potential between the flags in Ireland before heading to Northumbria and he's won his last two point-to-points for the yard. He has plenty of potential, as does Ardea, who completed a hat-trick for Mark Johnston's farrier Justin Landy and rider Joe Wright at the Staitondale, held at Charm Park on Easter Monday. Damiens Dilemma is a regular winner between the flags and didn't run too badly in one of these at Market Rasen while Dun Faw Good wasn't beaten far in a similar race at Hexham last May and has continued in good form including an excellent second to Knocklong on very heavy ground at Alnwick in December.
