In depth

Verdict

BARABOY beat Snowed In by four lengths at Cartmel last month and was then a staying-on third at Sedgefield. With confirmed front-runners Wot A Shot and Oh So Gigolo likely to set a strong pace, the race should be run to suit Barry Murtagh’s seven-year-old. Uttoxeter runner-up Bohernagore also likes to be prominent but Claude Carter is generally a hold-up horse, though is now a teenager. Sense Of Urgency was placed at Perth last month between more modest efforts at the same track.
