A race complicated by the fact that a couple of the intended runners are dependant on contrasting ground, so there is every possibility that this will cut up even further from the disappointing turn out from a host of five-day acceptors. However, assuming that there is sufficient cut in the ground for Miss Mattie Ross to take her chance, this looks to be a the mercy of the eight-year-old mare. However, the last named did not go down without a fight and is the best alternative if the rain stays away today. That scenario will ensure that Alittlebitopower takes his place in the line up but, he lacks expedience of these fences and is not hard overlook today.
