Verdict
Not many can be ruled out but Minivet has solid claims on the best of his form and, as he arrives here on the back of an improved display at his beloved Doncaster, he has to be given serious consideration if he is supported again tonight. However, he has rarely run two races the same in recent times and is taken on with the ex-Irish Sully Shuffles, who is still lightly raced over here after joining Martin Todhunter from Francis Flood's yard at start of last winter. The nine-year-old has taken a little time to get into the swing of things and has not been over faced with only four starts for his new yard. However, he already holds the likes of Hugo De Perro, whom he comfortably had the measure of when the two met in competition at Newcastle in February. Bigger dangers to the selection are represented by Picture Palace and Political Sox, who both hold sound claims at this level and are worthy alternatives for each-way players, whereas Plutocrat also has to be respected as he has an abundance of stamina on his side. However, Len Lungo's charge looks a little high in the weights at the moment and will do well to conceded 16lb to the selection. Therefore, Sulley Shuffles is fancied to exploit his lenient mark with trip and ground expected to ideally suit his style of running.
