In depth

Verdict

ASK THE WEATHERMAN took advantage of a slide the weights and returned to winning ways in the heavy going at Plumpton. He’s raised 5lb but has won off higher marks in the past. Late Romantic finished second of only two finishers at Leicester and is fitted with additional headgear while Set List’s second at Newton Abbot came on good ground in April last year. Samstown won over a longer trip here in between his more usual form of failing to complete and Monbeg River has been well beaten in tougher contests recently.
