        Verdict

        Paladin could only manage third at Wolverhampton, despite escaping a penalty for winning an apprentices race over track and trip earlier when beating Runaiocht and Gavarnie Encore. He’s 5lb higher today and the less-exposed DHEYAA (NAP) is preferred. The latter was beaten only a short-head at Brighton on her reappearance and can make a winning start in handicaps by landing this. Bahamian Boy won over 7f at Chelmsford last year but has yet to race over further and the latter comment also applies to Born To Finish and Miss Phillyjinks.
