Verdict

Voice Control finally got off the mark when returning a 33/1 winner at Chelmsford but is upped 5lb. Delagoa Bay ended a long losing run with a course and distance victory but is upped in class while Hurricane Volta and Starcrossed were both placed over shorter trips on their latest starts at Doncaster and Bath respectively. MISTER BOB finished only fourth at Wolverhampton but in a higher grade than this and James Bethell’s charge may be the one to side with having been narrowly beaten in similar company last term.
