Verdict
As usual jockeyship played it's part here and favourite backers were granted an easy time of things as Robert Miles oozed confidence on the well supported Florian. The partnership, who teamed up to good effect when the gelding got off the mark at Lingfield in May, quickly assumed control of the race and could be called the winner virtually from the moment they turned for home. Castaigne and Diliza made late headway to fill the places were in a different parish to the already eased winner as he crossed the line. Eagles View briefly threatened to take a hand but faded tamely near the finish.
