In depth
Verdict
Michael Jarvis has his string in fine form at present so it come as no surprise to see his representative Waymark step up on his debut second on a soft surface at Leicester and take the honours here but Zifaaf has the best form on offer and she is preferred, with Common Purpose looking the pick of the remainder. The selection found only Chantilly Tiffany too good on her debut in last month's Wood Ditton and, with that form already working out well, she looks the one they all have to beat. Sir Michael Stoute's Garden Party is a half-brother to a couple of useful performers and could be of interest on his debut, while Padlocked is nicely bred but the yard of Jeremy Noseda has been slow to come to hand this term so he may be best watched. Belinda Rose is bred to be useful but is also bred to appreciate cut in the ground so she is another probably best left out of calculations, with a bigger threat looking to be Common Purpose. John Gosden's gelding has the advantage of experience over most of these but he looks booked for a place at best with Zifaaf looking hard to oppose.
