Korty, Napoletano and My Jeanie make the short-list but Micky Mac is taken to prove too strong for all of them. He met all sorts of trouble in running when making his handicap bow at Wolverhampton last month but stuck to his guns and wasn't beaten far at the line. He was raised 3lbs for that eyecatching run but could still be ahead of the assessors. My Jeanie is just 2lbs higher than when winning over course and distance and that comment could also apply to this unexposed filly but confidence is tempered by the presence of longstanding maiden Simpsons Gamble in second. Napoletano bounced back to form at Lingfield last time and has claims but he has yet to trouble the judge in four previous visits here and Micky Mac is preferred.
