More exalted fare on offer here and the prize could go the way of Spring Goddess with Alfresco and Wavertree Warrior feared most. Spring Goddess's latest win was her third from sixteen all-weather starts and she remains well handicapped on her best form despite a 6lb rise for that course and distance success. This is undoubtedly more competitive but she was very impressive. Alfresco produced a game display last time but will need a career best in order to defy his penalty whilst Wavertree Warrior should appreciate this drop in grade but his losing run stretches back almost a year now. Monkey Glas won well last time and merits consideration along with Bobski whilst Trivia had looked progressive prior to her latest run at Newmarket but the well handicapped Spring Goddess is taken to land this competitive affair.
