VALSEUR DU GRANVAL (NAP) jumped well for a very impressive victory at Towcester and though coming here with a 7lb penalty he's likely to go up much more than that when reassessed so has to be the one here. Winning point-to-pointer Mountain Eagle makes his debut over regulation fences but he's shown enough over hurdles to suggest he should do well over the bigger obstacles. Fear Glic once looked promising but had a very long absence before two poor runs over fences. Lucky Jim's close second to Sir Note at Market Rasen puts him in the frame though he didn't run well on quicker going at Warwick last time.
