Dvinsky was a 6f winner here last time and was value for more than the official margin there, but he has to prove that he is as effective over this trip and preference is for Satin Braid, while Smokin Joe and Nicada can also go well. Satin Braid drops back in trip but is effective over this distance and is in very good form, having won over a mile at Lingfield and then being just edged out by Putra Laju at Wolverhampton last week. A repeat effort will be good enough here. Smokin Joe is a consistent sort and should not be inconvenienced by the drop in trip. However he has gone up again for losing last time and the handicapper seems to have him at present. Nicada will be suited by track and trip but again he is fully exposed. There are minor cases to be made for others such as Jools and Seneschal but Satin Braid is the one for us.
