Wishes Or Watches is interesting back over this trip and can take this concluding handicap from Forfeiter and Smokey The Bear. The selection went close from the same mark at Wolverhampton over 1m 4f in October and perhaps did not get home quite so well when tried over 14f back there a week or so later. We can put a line through his hurdling attempt last time and give him another chance here. Forfeiter was collared by Just Intersky over 10f last time when just caught at the line and it is doubtful that he gets this trip so he is taken on. Smokey The Bear has shown decent form over 10f but is another doubtful stayer on pedigree and a better proposition may be Smoothie, who has an 11f course win to his name plus a couple of wins elsewhere over this trip and is capable from this mark. He can go very well, but Wishes Or Watches gets the vote.
