Atlantic Story was better value than the official margin suggested last time and can defy a 3lb rise to go in again here, with Dichoh and Tender The Great respected. The Mick Easterby-trained selection scored over this trip at Lingfield last time, when he idled in front and could have won by a fair bit more than the official short head. A 3lb rise looks fair enough, he is tongue strapped for the first time here and he can continue to pay his way. Dichoh drops back from the nine furlongs over which he finished runner up at Wolverhampton last month. However, he goes well at this trip and at the track and can be very competitive from this mark. Tender The Great comes from an in-form yard, acts at the track and has a couple of wins at the trip to his name, so a win would be no shock. Risque Heights and Buy On The Red need a drop in the weights and Danetime Lord may prove to be a better proposition, but Atlantic Story gets the nod.
