In depth
Verdict
John Gosden's two-year-old's are beginning to find their form right now so a market move for Royal Lodge entry Bowing would be interesting for the opener. Amanda Perrett is another trainer who's juveniles have been running well so it will be interesting to see how her representative Silver City, who is well entered, performs on his debut. Ben Hanbury's Dhabyan shaped with promise on his first start at Newmarket but failed to progress from that, on softer ground, at the same venue subsequently. The safer option, and the TEAMtalk selection, has to be Paul Cole's Shingles. A half-brother to Border Arrow, he lost no caste in defeat to Sanbenito over six furlongs at Ripon earlier in the month. The step up to a mile should suit and with the stable continuing in good form he should take plenty of beating.
