Verdict
The in form Polar Way, who comes here on a hat-trick, will be a popular choice with backers for this classified stakes race. Amanda Perrett's charge was good value for his defeat of Pic Up Sticks at Kempton last time but the runner-up there does tend to find one too good and the son of Polar Falcon may be flattered by his victory. Certainly at forecast odds he may be worth taking on and we do so with Nemo Fugat. There was plenty to like about the way Richard Hannon's horse won at Newbury last time and with Kieren Fallon taking the ride he gets the TEAMtalk vote. Of the others Mr Toad should appreciate the drop in class having run in the Stewards Cup last time, Caribbean Coral has had little respite from the handicapper, while Locharia showed signs of a return to form at York last time.
