Verdict

CAME BACK has an outstanding chance at the weights here and gets the nod ahead of Sir Edwin Landseer and Bazguy. The selection has 10lb and more in hand on every other runner in this claimer, compared to if this were a handicap. All 10 of his wins have come over this trip, mainly in handicaps and claimers, and in spite of a poor draw he still looks good enough. Bazguy remains in good heart and also goes well in this sphere, as evidenced by a defeat of the selection in September and he has to be taken very seriously here. Sir Edwin Landseer is dropped in class here and has the right credentials to make a big impression, so from a plumb draw he has every chance. Little Edward caught a tartar at Great Leighs last week but Ron Hodges' runners are coming back to form and another good effort is not ruled out. Hart Of Gold won a minor handicap here last week when he finished strongly but he has a massive amount to find with the selection, and that is Came Back.
