The market may well provide the answer to this maiden where the temptation is to give another chance to HEROSTATUS. He represents last year's winning stable but needs to bounce back from a poor performance at Southwell if he's to follow suit. It may just be that he didn't handle the surface on that occasion and his previous second to Palio Square and a mark of 79 gives him leading claims. Dhaafer makes his debut for Alan King and must be respected for a yard that does well with their Flat runners whilst connections will be keen to get a win into Weathervane and Mascarene and both have the ability to land a race of this nature. Cast Of Stars has had his share of chances but appears to save his best for this venue and may be able to take a hand.
