In depth
Verdict
A wide-open handicap in which many can be given chances on there best form, but a chance is taken on Prime Recreation. The gelding from the Paul Felgate yard has dropped the handy mark is proven on the ground and he should strip a lot fitter to day having finished in mid-division behind Piccled on his last run 80 days ago. Hout Bay is another who is fit from an Aw campaign but although he is on a fair mark, he is a hold up performer who needs things to fall just right for him and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Strawberry Dawn is also one to consider off a light weight but she was very disappointing on the AW last time out. Woodland Blaze won a small handicap at Wolverhampton last time out when defeating Tigress. This looks more competitive however if he can reproduce that effort on turf he would have definite place claims. Capital Access is another who is well in on his best form and is proven on the ground. However he was disappointing at the end of last season but he goes well fresh. Our Chelsea Blue is in fair form but has never won off mark this high. Of the remainder Taboor has a good draw and is from a stable in form so he should go well at a fair price.
