In depth
Verdict
A field big in numbers but short on quality, and a chance is taken on Bonus his best effort last season was when he was second behind Turn Around and a reproduction of that form would make him hard to beat. Zouche rates the main danger he was a fair fifth behind Pidgeon Point on his debut last season, he will know what is expected here and he is sure to have strengthened up in the winter. Mr Dumby is a Sri Pekan colt from a top yard and he is worth a cautionary look in the market. Patandon Girl is a well bred Night Shift filly who is bred to be better over further. Multahab would have a chance on his debut effort when second behind Strawberry Dawn but he was very disappointing last time. The remainder that have run look fully exposed and the remaining debutantes do not stand out on breeding.
