Verdict

POINT OUT isn't well drawn but may still be able to get the better of Aqua Vitae and Bohemian Melody. The John Gosden trained colt made much of the running on her debut at this track over seven furlongs and similar tactics could help to negate his low berth if he can get to the front without using up too much energy. He was very well backed on that occasion so had clearly been pleasing his connections at home and he's fancied to go one better. Aqua Vitae was asked to make his debut at Epsom which isn't the easiest of tracks for a youngster to negotiate whilst the trip was probably on the short side for him as well. He's entitled to improve for that initial experience and it would be no surprise to see him give a good account. Bohemian Melody has the benefit of a more recent run under his belt where he burnt a few fingers having been supported into odds-on. He was probably just caught out by his inexperience on that occasion and merits respect but this race looks a shade more competitive. Madlool and the newcomers need to be monitored for support but Point Out looks to be the one that they have to beat.
