        Verdict

        CONTRADIKTIVE is the interesting runner in this field and is put forwards in the hope that the money arrives. Those with more obvious claims include Red Current and Yakama whilst Lady Lam is another to note. The selection didn't show a great deal in three starts over five and six furlongs in 2008 for his previous connections but it's interesting that his shrewd connections have persevered with him and he should be suited by this longer trip. His new yard have been known to land the odd touch on the level and they have room to work with from this one's initial mark. Red Current bounced back to form here last time having lost her way for a while; she's able to race from the same mark and is entitled to be in the mix again. Yakama has never won a race but has been running well of late and has each-way claims whilst it will be interesting to see if handicap debutante Lady Lam attracts any market interest on her first run for a new yard. It may make sense to play your cards late in the day in this contest but that luxury isn't afforded us so we'll take a chance with Contradiktive.
