Verdict

Coole Cody made all in the Paddy Power Gold Cup in November and is a late developer but may struggle today up against younger rivals. Tamaroc Du Mathan was no match for Shishkin in the Wayward Lad here over Christmas having made a winning debut over fences at Wincanton. He’s probably the form pick but still has stamina to prove and this track looks tailor-made for GA LAW, who jumps from fence to fence and has had a much-deserved break since finishing third in a Grade 1 at Sandown in December. Son Of Camas was a smart hurdler but beaten a long way when third in a handicap here on Boxing Day and looks hard to catch right nowadays.
