Verdict

Guardino was an expensive purchase who is almost certainly better than he showed when third at Carlisle in November. Tamgho Borget is well related and has joined a top stable since edging out today’s rival Unanswered Prayers in a maiden point at Ballycrystal in October. Frascato Bello still has time on his side but there are some nice newcomers in this including Howzat Valtat, who is out of a French bumper winner, and the Presenting gelding Wild Wilbur, who is a brother to two winners. WILLIAM OF YORK is by Kayf Tara out of dual bumper winner who went on to win three times over timber so he has the ideal breeding for this sphere.
