The third race on the card is a fillies maiden race and it looks very trappy with many having their first runs of their careers. Of the horses that have run Spicewood and TOWBAAT are the picks. Spicewood ran in a very hot Newmarket maiden on her last start and ran with credit after being slow away. Today's assignment is easier and she should make her presence felt with the step up in trip sure to suit. Towbaat ran in a fillies maiden at Yarmouth on her last start which was probably above average. She was collared late that day and should strip fitter today. It's very tough to gauge this race but of the fillies that have not yet run Bellini Surprise, Candotoo and Razzina take the eye. Ishraaqat and Hyperspace most also be monitored given their connections but Towbaat gets a very tentative vote. The market should prove the best guide.
