In depth

Verdict

Dundrum Lad overcame a bad mistake to make a successful start over fences at Tipperary but makes his handicap debut with a big weight. Carole Rose looked as though she would be suited by tonight's trip when staying on strongly over 2m4f at Wexford so she'll take some beating while Glenwood For Ever has won twice over fences, both times on this track. BLACK SAM THE MAN was well behind Dundrum Lad at Tipperary but that was over 2m4f and he showed major improvement when tackling this course and distance a couple of weeks ago. He's been raised 9lb but that was only his third start over fences and there's more to come. Stonehall Jack has never won in 19 starts over fences but went very close when less than a length behind Lash It On at Tramore a week ago.
