In depth

Verdict

Le Martalin followed a fine run behind Cadmium at Roscommon by scrambling home in a four-runner race on very fast going at Wexford. Like ROBIN DE FORET he has a double penalty for his two victories over fences and the latter looked very impressive when beating today's rivals Balzac Turgot 4l at Kilbeggan with Camlann well back in third. Willie Mullins' charge can go in again though stable companion Screaming Rose should continue on the upgrade after making most over slightly shorter than this at Roscommon. Master Appeal has more experience of fences than these but is better over further on this ground while Aumaulino, a debut winner over the bigger obstacles on soft going at Tipperary, didn't have the pace for 2m4f on good ground at Wexford next time.
